Hike the Peacock Walk and the hills beyond
New Vrindaban is a place of astounding natural beauty with hundreds of acres of wooded hills. Our Peacock Walk takes you around the big pond near the temple which is a sanctuary for roving peacocks, swans, and a special breed of ducks. This pond is the site of our famous Swan Boat festival which happens every Saturday night during the summer.
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can hike our forest trails that lead you deep into the wilderness around New Vrindaban. Ascend the grand hills and have a picnic with a view on one of the benches.
Or, stalk wild herbs on our all-new Foraging Walk. One of our knowledgeable guides will take you along country trails where you can pick your own wild salad greens and learn to identify and collect medicinal plants like goldenseal, comfrey, mint, nettles, and more.
